A show that has completely changed my life and created visibility for our marginalized #lgbtq family. Our show is particularly important as currently our human rights are still under attack and our political world is in shambles. The world has gone absolutely mad and when we started to think about what I would wear today, the first major appearance of the new decade, we decided to go all white. The color symbolizes peace, hope, and new beginnings. My @tiffanyandco dragonfly brooch is symbolic of transformation and self-realization. All of these themes and symbols encapsulate my hope for all people in 2020. We must continue to strive for life and kindness. Especially when our world is on fire . . Well, it takes me a few days to tabulate the answers from my Scantron and my results are in for Best Dressed.
Billy Porter high kicked it out of the park yet again at the Goden Globes. Apparently the train was unzippabble so he could sit down and pee, as one does at fancy parties. I've been a big fan of Billy Porter since I saw him in Kinky Boots on Broadway. I never got to see Whitney Houston live, but there is one number where I got chils and the little hair I have on on my arms (think hairless Chihuahua) stood on end. That does not happen often. I once ran into him near the elevator a at a Pride Party and I told him that story with my eyes. I coudn't talk, I was catatonic in his presence, but I'm pretty sure he heard me.
