My favorite show at this very moment in time has to be Claws. Niecy Nash has always held a special place in my heart and this show has brought out all her acting skillz and fabulous budget fashion chops. This commercial/ homeage/ mashup is social media marketing genius!

A few years back I was working on the same floor as Rolling Stone and a girl I worked with went up to him, which you don't do, and asked, "You look just like Johnny Depp." He replied, "Well that's a mighty fine complement." not realizing it was him till after. She the told me he smelled like whiskey and cigarettes. Just as I would have expected. HBD Johnny, you 21 jumped all the way to the top!

Stars Shined Bright in Brooklyn

I'm not the biggest Kim K fan partially becasue I worked at a celebrity rag for a while and I had to look at that butt day after day. Even so I did fall into a K-hole recently and watched like 5 episodes in a row. I'm all caught up now on all things Kim K and I still feel the same. Even though the K invasion almost eclipised all others at the CFDA's last night, most everyone else in fashion who has a pied a terre in NYC showed up to get gritty in Brooklyn.

Happy Pride Month everyone! Not only is Pride a celebration of yourself but it's also a demonstration of love and acceptance for one another. The LGBTQ community is made up of people of every color and creed and every walk of life. I love seeing the parents of PFLAG marching at Pride parades with signs reading "I love my gay son", "I love my trans daughter" or some other similar declaration. It's beautiful. Pride not only serves as an important reminder of where we've come from, what we've been through and all that we've endured, both as a community and as individuals on our own journeys of self discovery but it also gives our allies an opportunity to show their support for us. Not like I was there or anything, but after watching E and following everyone on the Gram it's like I went to fancy church yesterday. There were pope hats galore, short longs and as many trains as the MTA. This insta moment with Amber Valletta, Zoë Kravitz and Kate Moss is really all you need to see. When everyone else came in their best divinity wear extravaganzas, these gals kept it chic and cute. My work is done here. Have a funtastic day!
