A personal trainer I've had my eye on named Murat has inspired my little fingers to type away today. He's seems sweet, wholesome and the kind of guy you could bring home to meet momma. Tonight, tonight the Oscars are tonight! I now have a bunch of movies to see before tonight! I do love me all the glitz and the galm of the Oscars and this year everyone is gonna party like it's 1999! I usually only watch about 1 maybe 2 movies prior and stream the rest way later. I mean who has time to see everything by today? If you are cool like that, well then kudos to you and your eager ways. I do so admire your tenacity!  
Anyhoo,  Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall will be the Hollywood galas MC’s. This laughter trinity has each others backs and I expect that tomorrow we’ll all be talking about them or not talking about them like Bruno, no, no, no!

Icon Rita Moreno Shines Bright

 


What makes an icon most? It's part tenacity, part longevity and all love which Rita Moreno has proven in her lifelong career. In the documentary of her life, Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It, we see a latina girl who got typecast in the golden age of Hollywood, who still held her head up high and kept her dignity. Rita went on to star in West Side Story then moved on to TV because there were no good parts for her. Thankfully she landed a gig on Electric Company and yelled 'Hey You Guys!' to the world! She got her EGOT and has come full circle again in West side Story in a part written just for her by Spielberg. Ms. Moreno shines bright like a diamond here in Schiaparelli proving what makes an icon most, dignity and grace!
