Sorry not so many posts lately, but I got this thing called a JOB for the Holidays at a chic rustic Italian tabletop store in NOHO, so I now know the true meaning of Christma$, tain't no ho exempt from werk! Anyhoo, enough about me and speaking of werk and chic rustic Italians, Madonna brings the Celebration tour home to the Barclay's in Brooklyn for the US leg of her twelfth tour. Ticket prices aren't as high as Beyoncé's or Talyor Swift's (BTW HBD Tay Tay!), so Madge is singing for the people and not just her bank account mostly. My tix are for tomorrow night and I can't wait to celebrate dancing and sweating to the oldies! Just one day out of life, it will be so nice!

Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree

The memaw of  Christmas, Brenda Lee, has finally come out with a new fandangled video for her classic Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree! Before Ms. Mariah tried to own xmas with all her xmas money, Brenda Lee was rocking around that tree for decades and continues to rock around said tree to this day! It's wonderful to see Brenda Lee in the new old fashioned waaayyyy!

I ask myself yet again WDDD, what doesn't Dolly do?!?! Well Dolly Parton's officailly a rockstar now! She's proving it with her new album aptly titled Rockstar. From what I've deduced it's her and other rockstars collabing on Rock & Rolly music. I tuned in to her livestream last night and only lasted a few moments because it turns out I have the attention span of a gnat. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Rocked the House

 

Chaka Kahn, Missy Elliott & George Michael are a few of the inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of '23 last night in Brooklyn. Sia joined Chaka Kahn for the anthem I'm Every Woman, which will now be stuck in your head all day. Missy Elliott glittered like gold much to Tamron Hall's delight. And Andrew Ridgley gave a heart felt tribute to his former Wham-mate George Michael who was FINALLY posthumously inducted. Other Rock & Rollers honered were Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, The Spinners and Rage Against the Machine. Kudos to all you beautiful music makers for your epic careers and shining your light upon on us!

Mariah Carey Season Oficially Begins

As scary season ends Mariah Carey's big money making and making mary season begins! The song that will not be mentioned here lest it get stuck in my head for the next 2 months straight is now on oficially on full holday rotation. I'll wait to dive into this xmas ditty until at least after Thanksgiving or else I'll go batty! That said, let the holiday season begin!
