Now that I'm done grieving Tina Turner properly, let's look to the future and it looks like the future belongs to Blue Ivy. Beyoncé allowed her first born on the world stage for the summer leg of her world tour. Looks like it's true lil' Blue got all the swagger of her parents and some of her own sass too!

I was lucky enough to see Tina: The Musical on Broadway and it's as close as I ever got to see her live. Thank you for reminding us to always ask ourselves 'What's love got to do with it?'  RIP Ana Mae and roll on that river on high! 🥲

Missy Elliott Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Is it just me or is Missy Elliott looking supa dupa fly? I think she's reverse aging so it may appear she is not old enough to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but don't worry she is. Also inducted is the brilliant Kate Bush who has run up that hill musically in her carreer and now she is getting to take a ride down that hill and into the hall of fame as well. They are in good company with country legend smoke cloud Willie Neslon and Sherly Crow who will soak it all up like the sun I'm sure! Oh and posthumously George Michael who already is in the big rock& roll hall in the sky.

I've scrolled my fingers to the bone for you today and realized a Wednesday Hunkday Hunk/s was right in front of face. I've been thinking about hiring the LGM Boys to move me to Kansass where I think they live. Their saxy shenanigans are goofy as heck and they are easy on the eyes. Usually I spend all day after The Met Gala scouring all the internets to find my favorites then think of something witty and nice to say about it, becasue if you don't have something nice to say then don't get out of bed. Kind of like Shabaz Says does as he breaks it down and sums up what we are all really thinking. Met Gala Honoring Karl Lagerfeld Tonight!

 

Tonight is the night fashions gliteratti shines bright and shows up and shows off how fashion is done at the Met Gala tonight. Cara Delevigne may have been his final muse and it's clear here that Cara got the memo. Will everyone else stay on trend? I would love it if Rihanna came in homage as Karl's best friend Andre Leon Talley. I'm also praying that Doja Cat was invited and she comes as Karls cherished kitty cat Choupette!
