Lizzo Brings Out the Queens in Tennessee

 

The only bad thing a drag queen has ever done to me is severely entertain me and make me run to the cash machine, then try and find dollar bills at a packed bar. So, I'm having a hard time understanding the laws against drag queens recently passed in Tennessee. Which, come to think of it, could be the birthplace of drag since that's where Dolly Parton is from (hmmm 🤔). Unkown herstories aside, Lizzo made herstory in Tennessee by proudly trotting out the RuPaul's Drag Race gals to slay on stage as she hollas 'Support your drag queens!' It's about damn time!

Elements of a great romcom are a good looking cast with hot jobs, hot apartmets but no love. If you have all three, lucky you! Celine Dion may only have two of these three at the moment, but at least she is in an upcoming major motion picture Love Again! As well as singing the movies song by the same name just for a lil' extra cha-chings. Oh yeah the movie also includes Sam Heughan, Priyanka Chopra and her hubby Nick Jonas. Now that I'm thinking about it, that would be one hot throuple!

Billy Porter Playing James Baldwin in Biopic

 

The first love story I ever read that gave me hope for love was Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin. Billy Porter will be palying the prolific author in a soon to be made biopic. The first time I saw Billy Porter perform was in Kinky Boots on Broadway and Billy gave me chills down my spine! Now I fully expect for those chills to multiply when I get to see this movie.

Wednesday is Hunkday!

Tyler Posey is the perfect Wednesday Hunkday specimen. Cute, funny, talented and doesn't take himself too seriously. Taking the piss out of yourself and going for the laugh is the direct route to my heart! So do Tyler a solid and go buy his album. He may need the money to buy a shirt ;)

 

Madonna Showed Up in Brooklyn

 

Madonna probably recorded Antiques Road Show to make it over the East River in time to watch the Brooklyn queens slay and shablam at the 3 Dollar Bill. Madge stayed up way later than me on Monday which makes me think she is tirelessly scouting for some new dancers/moves to take on tour with her this year. If so, she's come to the right place becasue Brooklyn does it better!

My most favorite things in the wolrd may seem weird and strange to most, but for me absurdity and creativity trump everything in a good way. My favorite transformer Alexis Stone fits the bill for me brialliantly and keeps my eyeballs entertained! Here madmoiselle Stone Jumps for joy and becomes the provocateur designer Jean Paul Gaultier for some serious stunting in a kooky fashiony way in gay Paris. This is silicone used in the proper way, on you not in you!
