Marc Jacobs says he still has the ring ex-fiancéLorenzo Martone gave him when they were engaged. “He asked me to marry him, but he broke up with me. He just changed his mind. We’re best friends now,” Jacobs, who is now dating Brazilian actor Harry Louis, explained to Fern Mallis during her “Fashion Icons” panel series at the 92nd Street Y. Jacobs has 33 tattoos, and said that he’s ready to add another, of the ManBearPig character on South Park, to his body. “[My trainer and I] are fighting over which one of us is going to get it,” Jacobs revealed during the talk. The new ink would join an image of SpongeBob, an M&M character and other eye-catching ink drawn by celeb tattoo artist Scott Campbell.

“VJ: The Unplugged Adventures of MTV’s First Wave” includes behind-the-scenes tales of cocaine, Michael Jackson and an unknown named Madonna. “I wasn’t busy, so I got the nod,” recalls Alan Hunter of an assignment to interview the Material Girl backstage at the Limelight. “[She] wasn’t huge at the time — I felt like I was more of a celebrity than she was. This was before Madonna was groomed for stardom. She was fleshy, and her baubles looked like something she might have bought at a trinket store downtown, herself.” Hunter also recalls the network’s hard-partying New Year’s Eve broadcasts, “an exercise in staying straight for four hours while everybody else was going to the bathroom and doing massive amounts of cocaine.”

I'm not surprised that Britney Spears is leaving X factor as her tag line "Amazing" didn't quite cut the mustard. Nobody uses Amazing anymore lady. Focus on making music Britney and less talking unless it's sing talking.
