It's about damn time Rihanna put out new music to appease her rabid fans! Lift Me Up is for the mega film franchise Wakanda Forever and it's a beutiful lullaby. Not the ass clapper I was waiting for, but I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg and RiRi's gonna get more gritty than this lil ditty.  I can already see an Academy Award nomination for this in her future and I broke my crystal balls ages ago.

RIP Leslie Jordan

 

This is terrible news, comic actor Leslie Jordan, has gone up to the big gig in the sky. I first remembered him as Karen's nemisis, Beverly Leslie, on Will & Grace. I was lucky enough to see him perfom in Provincetown and he did cartwheels for us, giving us his all! I never laughed so hard. Thanks for the laughter Leslie. Earth got sadder and heaven just got funnier.

There is nothing like an old torch song to give you all the feels one needs and Barbra Streisand is fitting the bill for me today whith her rendition of Cry Me A River. Loretta Lynn was born a coal miners daughter then sang her way to the American dream. Loretta was an auburn haired country icon who entertained folks for decades. Now she's holding court at the big Hee-Haw hoedown in the sky, RIP.
