Julia Roberts Smiles Pretty on Cover of Bazaar

Sometimes you need a smile to help get you through these trying times. The Smile, Julia Roberts, takes me back to a time pre 9/11. I recollect them as the Pretty Woman days when all you worried about is saving money for a thigh high boot.

RIP Hugh Hefner

They called him Hef. I only saw him twice when I worked at Playboy in Chicago back when Pam Anderson was queen. It was mostly women who worked there and my checks were signed by his daughter Christie who ran the empire. His first wife Millie worked there too. He was a lover of women. Made his fortune off them because he treasured them. He put them on a pedestal and treated them with respect. He launched careers, revived careers and unknowingly set me on my path in the magazine biz. Eventually, allowing me to move to NYC and live my dream. Thanks for giving that kid a much needed chance. RIP Hef. πŸ’•❤️

George Michael Documentary Coming to Showtime

90's nostalgia seems to be in full swing today as I just found out George Michael was working on a documentary of his life at his untimely passing. Proving to me it was definately not a suicide, but a tragic twist of fate. I will never forget Last Christmas as it was tinged with the sadness of his passsing. Still get the sads about it. Now cue Freedom 90 video to cheer up.
