When I first laid eyes on Lizzo was on my work computer in her full glory. We ran a spotlight on her and I saw this image alot. Of course I needed to know who she was. So I goes on over to the internets and do a search only to find that she is, AMAZING! One to watch I'm telling you. Here she surprised me yet again with her flautist skills! I will say it again, Flautist!

2019 Tony Awards Tonight!

The gayest night of television is tonight and theatre queens are busy at Whole Foods gettting their cheese boards, pinot noir & olive tapanade for the show hoseted by certified theatre queen James Cordon.  I was lucky to see three shows this season Boys in the Band being the only qualifying one. The other two are the ones you see when someone is visiting and you can get surprise seats at TKTS or TodayTix. Book of Mormon, nominated 10+ years ago was still hilarious! I can't remember the other one... Don't make me get my Playbills out.

Jennifer Hudson Sings The Jeffersons Theme Song Proper

In a world with no new ideas for anything any more, this happened. A one off reboot of The Jeffersons was recently regurgetated, but to it's saving grace we got to see Jennifer Hudson belt out the old beans don't burn in the kitchen song from the classic show that inspired my dreams of moving on up. Oh, I do love an apricot colored kitchen.

Bye Bye Game of Thrones 😭

A post shared by Game of Thrones (@gameofthronesnotofficial) on

It took me a while to get into you GOT. After 8 seasons and watching some episodes twice,I still don't know everyones name and probably never will. I just heard on the morning news that 10 milion people will call in sick to work today. Also known as a mental health day or more likely a hangover day. Don't let the sads set in. Be glad you have your Sundays back. You may as well cancel HBO now and save tons of money.

RIP Doris Day

Doris Day was America's sweetheart back in the day. She sang, danced and acted her way into movie lovers hearts. Her Rom Coms with Rock Hudson were the most popular movies of the early 60's. On TV she had her own show properly called the Doris Day show where she continued dancing and singing in living rooms everywhere. When Rock was diagnosed with AIDS in the 80's, a photograph of her giving him a kiss changed perceptions of the mysterious disease for many. A fierce animal rights acitvis and rescuer to the end. Doris Day lived her life with grace and kindness. Her work speaks for itself. A life well lived. RIP.
