Hustlers Lived Up to the Hype



Skipped the debate last night & went to see Hustlers instead. Wise choice in retrospect. “This whole country is a strip club, they throw money at us & we keep dancing.” Jlo deserves the Oscar buzz. Constance Wu was the heart, Cardi b left you wanting more & Lizzo fluted it up. I also really like that Keke Palmer. FYI, I want a Swavroski Hunny clutch too!!!! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️πŸ’― πŸ…πŸ…

Ariana, Miley & Lana Oh My



Little did I know there was another Charlie's Angels until last night when I saw the preview at the Hustlers movie. Kstew looked like she was having fun in the preview. I had no clue who the other girls in the movie were, but I did recognize Parker Posey as Bosley. That was cute. Anyhoos, I digress this post is about the trifecta of songbirds singing a song about angels. I would have done it totally different, but who am I to judge. I hope this makes God happy. I think she's a woman.

Lady GaGa Gives us Beauty Face



I will admit that it took me a while to get used to Lady GaGa. We've had a one sided love hate relationship, in my head. It's like she snuck in my back door recently with her pretty new make up line HAUS LABORATORIES. Considering she's worn so much of it, I'm sure she could work a counter at Sephora real good. Get that Lil' Monsters monies honey!

Wednesday is Hunkday!



Never Limit Yourself. Growing up I was always told and shown that chasing a dream was impossible. That you should stick to getting a normal job and living a normal life. Now there is nothing wrong with that, but when I tried to get a normal job. Even then I wouldn’t get hired. If only you could see the list of places that turned me down. One day, it clicked. That I can clearly fail at leading a “normal” life so I might as well chase my dreams. It’s been difficult. Challenging. Even Terrifying at times. But it’s also been more rewarding and fulfilling than I can describe with words. This journey has introduced me to people and places I could have only dreamed of. Friendships I could only have imagined. I’ve wanted to make movies and be on tv since I could walk. And I’ve done that. But I’m just getting started. It’s like anything in life, what you put in.. you get out. Much like my body, coming from a skinny insecure kid. To building the man you see before you, brick by brick. Anything is possible. All you have to do is imagine it. Believe in it and yourself, more than anyone else ever could.

Missy Elliott Gets the Lifetime VMA from Cardi B



Missy Elliott did what she do, she worked it, and of course it was worth it! She put that thing down, flipped it and then reversed it! As one does. Cardi B fan girled out her presenting to her. The love in the room for  Missy was palpable. 16 years later she is still relevant and needs to tour again!

RIP Isabel Toledo



Isabel Toledo and her devoted husband Ruben Toledo were the IT kids of fashion in the late 80's and 90's. Their style was modern and classic. They always made a woman look like a Lady. Including the First Lady Michelle Obama who wore a dress by Isabel for the inauguration. I saw them on a plane from Miami once and they exuded style and grace. The devotion and love they had for eachother was a rare jewel most marveled at. Their last show was at the Detroit Institute of Arts where their passion for fashion and art came together to cause wonder yet again. Rest in Power.

The mega successful franchise that is RuPaul's Drag Race has gone across the pond to rake in some of that UK monies honies! Be forewarned, your gay bars will never be the same again! Queens will be coming out of the woodwork for this! Legends will be born and those not worthy will be sent on tour to practice their craft and rake in even more cash monies! Downton Abbey Movie is Near!


My side of the family calls it Downtown Abbey, nevertheless I'm ready to put the cutoffs tank tops, and flip flops away and put some real classy clothes on to go see the Downton Abbey movie. I'm really Jonesing for a fix of some Dowager Countess shade stat!

HBD Madonna! 🎈


I often express that Madonna raised me from a baby gay boy to a grown gay man. Sometimes I wonder how much money I spent on the material girl over the years. At least she bought some kids and raised some really good art with it ;) Like most Mommas we've haven't always seen eye to eye. Although I'm not that excited about her latest incantation, Madame X, I still went to see how much tickets were for her Brooklyn Bam show and $750 plus per chicklet is way too much for me to justify that love. Nevertheless, I'll always be in love with you. HBD Momma Madonna!
