Thee Supermodels Reunite for a September Vogue Cover

This September Vogue cover harkens back to a day when the term Supermodel was created in the 90's specifically for Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington & Cindy Crawford. These still breathtaking beauties captured the worlds attention like no other. This cover is giving me life and all the tingles seeing them together on a cover yet again! So much so I'm left practically speechless! The only words I can muster as I am virtually verklempt are those of Lizzo,  'It's about damn time!'

With summertimes Megatours almost done, Barbie mania cooling, some big RIP's and Hollywood on strike there's not much to do but do whatever it is you do for the summer, but no summertime sadness! Mine has been pooling, sunshine, butterflies and dining al fresco! New Jersey will never be the same after Beycycloné hit New Jersey Metlife Stadium to entertain Oprah & Gayle this weekend, oh and a bunch of other people too! Allegedly her performance and fashion were EVERYTHING! I wasn't there and neither were you probably, but we can live vicariously and feel the spirit through Oprah & Gayle's posts. From what I have deduced, her show was EXTRAORDINARY and Beyoncé can do it all including no wrong!

In fine spirits Madonna got up to dance and do her thang which is promote, promote, promote! 40 years of promoting at least under her dance belt since her debut album. Well, with no concert for now, what better thing to do than to go back to the begining!

Wham Documentary is a Go Go

Somebody finally woke me up to the go go that is the Wham documentary streaming now. The never before seen personal footage of George Michael and Andrew RIdgley when they were young is mesmerizing and like totally worth your eyeball while. The hair, the shorts and the 80's nostalgia is just fun to the max to watch and a lesson on how two kids made their dream come true! Also with a side of cautionary tale on the price of fame and how one handsome kid gracefully let his best friend with the voice and the lyrics take center stage to rule the world. I must say, a must see!

Wednesday is Hunkday!

I was just in the checkout line at the Piggly Wiggly and overheard the checkout gal tell someone that she was glad it was finally humpday. I dropped my fudgcicles, chips and soda pop right than and there! I ran to get back on the bus, home to my computer station to make this Wednesday Hunkday post. Afterwhich I realized I had my not so smart phone on me the whole times! That said I'm exhausted and hope you enjoy my Wednesday Hunkday reportage. I present to you @nathan_zambon, a peaceful fellow with bedroom eyes and a penchant for working out. While tirelessly scrolling he made me realize that if I spent as much time working out as I do watching possible Wednesday Hunkday hunks working out, I'd be in much better shape. Ballyhooed Barbie Movie Finally Here

 

 

I've heard so much about this Barbie movie that I feel I have already seen it. Nevethertheless I haven't, but still think I did even after writing that. Maybe because I spent so much time pretending with my seesters Barbies when I was but a wee one, hmmm. I will pretend I did see it this weekend for social currency and agree with what everyone says becasue it's just easier that way! Fast forward to a few months from now when I'll most likely see it for $1.99 or better yet, free on a streamer because have you ever heard of El Chapo? Well meet El Cheapo!
