Broadway will never be the same again when The Pamela Anderson hits the boards in the super saxy ๐ŸŽท Fosse musical Chicago. Sometimes a star turn is all it takes to take a very good show even higher and all that jazz. I'm sure Pam is practicing her jazz hands as I type and she will stun as Roxie Hart and it will be red hot baby! I predict all the seats will be filled with standing room only to catch a glimpse of glamour personified. Exactly what a struggling Broadway needs right now, butts in seats!

Icon Rita Moreno Shines Bright

 


What makes an icon most? It's part tenacity, part longevity and all love which Rita Moreno has proven in her lifelong career. In the documentary of her life, Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It, we see a latina girl who got typecast in the golden age of Hollywood, who still held her head up high and kept her dignity. Rita went on to star in West Side Story then moved on to TV because there were no good parts for her. Thankfully she landed a gig on Electric Company and yelled 'Hey You Guys!' to the world! She got her EGOT and has come full circle again in West side Story in a part written just for her by Spielberg. Ms. Moreno shines bright like a diamond here in Schiaparelli proving what makes an icon most, dignity and grace!
