Madonna is busy prepping to start her Celebration Tour on July 15th in Vancouver then heading on over the the US and then do Europe in 2024. Madonna is going into full on touring mode for the next year or so and she takes her work very seriously and it becomes her full time life. Thankfully her kids are pretty much grown and she can give us her total undivided attention while we all sing back at her, which is what happens on a greatest hits tour anyways. So let everybody dance and sing, get up and do their thing!

Happy Birthday to 'Americas favorite drag queen' as Boy George told Joan Rivers live on TV and shocked America once upon a time way back when Culture Club won a Grammy for best new artist. That was the start of the fairytale then scarytale that was Boy's pioneer life. Now George is busy touring, painting and being silly on socials just as a trailblazing elder should! HBD Boy George you're still here & queer! You should go shopping!

It would not be a proper Pride month without a pop diva tossing her tiara in the ring for song of the summer and Kylie Minogue may just win the pretend competition in my head. Her new disco ditty Padam Padam is climbing the charts and thumping in clubs, bars, cars almost everywhere! Kylie's hit is going to scorch the summertimes to the beat of our hearts, padam padam!

TLC Forever Documentary Out Now

 

The most important thing I ever learned from listening to TLC is 'don't go chasing waterfalls.' and to 'stick to the rivers and the lakes that I'm used to.' I was never 100% sure what it meant, so I vaguley applied it to my life and I'm still here. I also never wanted no Scrubs either. You know, a guy hanging on the passenger side of his best friends ride trying to hollah at me. NOoooo Srubs! Repeat after me Nooooo, Scrubs. No No! This doc is a long time coming and to hear T-Boz and Chilli talk ablout the loss of Lisa Left Eye Lopez still stings like it was yesterday. Tune in to find some hairdo/outfit inspo and a TLC mantra for your life too!

And Just Like That Kim Cattrall is Back

Word on the street is that a certian sassy and saxy Kim Cattrall is coming back to And Just Like That the Sex in the City spin off! Fans around the world will gleefully get what they've been missing and that is some Smantha. The AARP days of the SATC gals would not be the same without a heaping helping of her hilarious zingers. Carrie Bradshaw will probably duke it out with Samantha over the phone and then send each other tikity toks and probably/hopefully kiss and make up with a few more zingers for good laughs. A smooth move for the shows final season with the winners being the fans, oh and Ms. Kim's bank account I'm sure!

Beyoncé Debuts Blue Ivy to the World Stage

 

Now that I'm done grieving Tina Turner properly, let's look to the future and it looks like the future belongs to Blue Ivy. Beyoncé allowed her first born on the world stage for the summer leg of her world tour. Looks like it's true lil' Blue got all the swagger of her parents and some of her own sass too!

Words I never wanted to hear or type, rest in power and peace Tina Turner. A legend who was simply the best, has left this earth  for that private dance in the sky. I was lucky enough to see Tina: The Musical on Broadway and it's as close as I ever got to see her live. Thank you for reminding us to always ask ourselves 'What's love got to do with it?'  RIP Ana Mae and roll on that river on high! 🥲
