Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Rocked the House

 

Chaka Kahn, Missy Elliott & George Michael are a few of the inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of '23 last night in Brooklyn. Sia joined Chaka Kahn for the anthem I'm Every Woman, which will now be stuck in your head all day. Missy Elliott glittered like gold much to Tamron Hall's delight. And Andrew Ridgley gave a heart felt tribute to his former Wham-mate George Michael who was FINALLY posthumously inducted. Other Rock & Rollers honered were Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, The Spinners and Rage Against the Machine. Kudos to all you beautiful music makers for your epic careers and shining your light upon on us!

Mariah Carey Season Oficially Begins

As scary season ends Mariah Carey's big money making and making mary season begins! The song that will not be mentioned here lest it get stuck in my head for the next 2 months straight is now on oficially on full holday rotation. I'll wait to dive into this xmas ditty until at least after Thanksgiving or else I'll go batty! That said, let the holiday season begin!

Barbra Streisand Memoir Out Next Week

A lifetime in the making the aptly named, My Name is Barbra, will be released next week finally! Oh the memories Barbra Stiesand had to conjur to bring this book to life. As I've mentioned round here before, I'm an autobigraphy audiobook autobot and will be all up in that fer sure especially since she reads it!

Cher on the Cover of Paper Magazine

Paper Magazine is trying to break the internets again with Cher on the cover just as she suspiciously happens to have a Christmas album coming out. Anyhoo, said album has some duets. A good duet would be Cher and Mrs. Claus doing a disco xmas version of Enough is Enough just for fun! Or Cher dueting with an elf who looks like Sonny on aLil' Drummer Boy. I can only pray to hear Cher sing those parum pa pa pums!

It's all the rage again to make a movie of your super successful record breaking summer concert tour and Beyoncé is not one to be left out! Queen Bey's Renaissance concert movie will lead the pack and break all the records as ususal once the Beyhive starts buzzing!

Brintey Spears' Memoir Finally Out!

My favorite genre of books are autobiographies as told to an expert ghostwriter who can string memories together for celebrities like Britney Spears who has summoned the Woman in Her/Me and it is epic! Already at nubmer one on the smarty pants book lists, it has also out pre sold any book ever! Well except maybe the Bible which was eons ago. I have not read the book yet nor will I as I prefer listening and hearing the persons voice and becasue it makes my daily chores go by way quicker! I have heard Michelle Williams will be doing the audiobook so it will be of the highest award winning caliber I'm sure!
